LulaRoo is a vegan, small batch bakery for humans and dogs. We are based out of Stoughton, MA and take pride in being LGBTQ+ women owned. Creating delicious, cruelty-free baked goods is our way of spreading positivity, fun and love.

our story

LulaRoo is made up of four passionate females: Ashley and Rachel Rotman and their two rescue chihuahuas, Cholula and Roo. Head baker Ashley has been baking exclusively vegan desserts for over seven years. Her partner Rachel is a self-taught cake decorator. During the pandemic, Ashley and Rachel wanted to find a way to bring joy back into their community. They achieved this by creating LulaRoo and sharing their baking with humans and dogs. LulaRoo takes pride in the fact that all of their baked goods are egg free, dairy free, and cruelty free!

If you call one of the "big three" area bakeries, and ask them for a vegan cake, you will get an immediate and unequivocal "no." LulaRoo competes on a level far exceeding two of them, and on-par with "The Big K." And again, none of them will make you something vegan. Everything is baked fresh daily, and you can really taste the love and quality ingredients in every bite. The two ladies who run the place are incredibly friendly and helpful, answering all my questions about the ingredients. Whether you're vegan, or lactose intolerant, or just looking for a fancy cake that everyone at your party can enjoy, call them first.

I left a voicemail and Ashley got back to me right away! Communication was very professional, it was a last minute order but she was able to offer me cupcakes instead of a cake which worked out perfect because everyone LOVED them! She even added a Bday note! Thank you so much for your professionalism and prompt responses! And of course for the yummy cupcakes! 🧁😊
